DMCA Policy

Overview
DevNexus respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice, provide the following in writing to our designated agent:
- Your identification: Full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
- Description of the copyrighted work: Identify the work you claim has been infringed, including a URL or copy of the original work if available
- Location of infringing content: The specific URL(s) on DevNexus where the infringing content appears
- Good faith statement: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
- Accuracy statement: “The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
- Your signature: Physical or electronic signature
2. Where to Send Notices
Submit DMCA notices through our contact page with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice.” We will respond within 5 business days.
3. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your identification (name, address, phone, email)
- Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If no legal action is filed within 10–14 business days, the content may be restored.
4. Repeat Infringers
DevNexus has a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We take copyright seriously and will act swiftly on valid notices.
5. Misuse of DMCA
Filing a false DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including attorney fees.
